En tant que technologue travaillant aux États-Unis, je suis vraiment enthousiaste en regardant les prouesses de nos voisins du nord. Je suis profondément impressionné par la qualité et l’utilité du travail effectué en Ontario ces temps-ci, et j’espère que la Silicon Valley prend des notes.

Daniel Newman, analyste principal chez Futurum Research et président-directeur général de Broadsuite Media Group, explique comment l’Ontario utilise l’IA comme moteur de changement.

Il traite particulièrement des travaux de Goldie Nejat, Ph. D., et de ses robots d’assistance. L’une de ses créations, un robot fournisseur de soins appelé Brian, est un bel exemple de ses efforts pour effacer la ligne entre l’humain et la machine.

L’entreprise ontarienne Clearpath Robotics utilise elle aussi l’IA pour révolutionner le monde du travail. Ses robots sont conçus pour les tâches dangereuses, comme celles du secteur minier ou de l’arpentage; l’entreprise travaille même sur des solutions militaires de défense.
